In case of a loss, notify your agent or our office as soon as reasonably possible. Give notice to the police when the act that causes the loss is a crime and give notice to the credit card company if the loss involves a credit card. Please be sure to take all reasonable steps to protect the property from any further loss. Do not begin to make any permanent repairs or dispose of any damaged property before an adjuster sees the damage or your loss may not be covered. Also, you may want to take photographs of your loss to substantiate your claim. Keep all receipts throughout the claim process for any repair or replacement items.
